The Gujarat Rajya Handloom, Handicrafts & Audyogic Sahakari Federation Ltd.(GUSICA), Ahmedabad was Established in 1960 as a State leval Apex Co-operative Organization under Co-operative societies Act and Commissioner Cottage & Rural Industries, (Govt. Of Gujarat) Gandhinagar is authorized this federation. Registration No. is U/7 Dt.31.12.1960.

- The federation provide raw material and design imputes to its member societies and affiliated weavers as well as craft persons to market their finished product through its Show-rooms ( Retail & Wholesale), Exhibitions, participating tender to different Government , semi Govt. and grant aid body threw out the country and generate employment for them.
- Federation also try to up grade their product by participating in (I.H.T.P.) Integrated Handloom Training Programme .hence the Artesian can upgrade their product as per International Quality and standard too.
- Recently with help of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) -New Delhi federation Organize-Craft Bazar, Design & Technical Development Workshops,
- Handicrafts Training Programme, Gandhi Shilp Bazar in verious places.
- Federation also Supply Corporate Gift to the various corporate body
- Federation open new showrooms on franchise basic throughout the country for the marketing of the finished goods of the member societies.
- Federation also participate in the National/International Exhibition for marketing of their different product throughout the year.
Capital of the federation
State Government as well as Central Government hold their share in the equity of Gusica is more then 50 %. More over the District leval member Societies and primary societies are also share holders of the Organization.
Gusica also working as an implementing agency of the Central and State Government schemes.
